Highlights are a timeless colour service and look. They can come in different styles – “chunky” for a bold effect, fine and delicate (“babylights”) for a subtler effect and everything in-between.

Inspired by the natural lightening effects of the sun on hair, people since the times of the ancient Greeks have been developing techniques to create this effect. Today, highlights continue to be popular and styles are ever-evolving.

Highlights will have an overall “brightening” effect on your hair. They can create a “fuller” look to your hair as well, making them are suitable for fine and thick hair types. If your hair is grey or greying, highlights can be a great way to blend in grey roots.

SERVICES

Highlights can add depth, dimension, brightness and a trendy look to your hair. If you would like highlights more than 3 shades lighter than your current hair colour, please book in for a Colour Correction. With our keen eye for detail and our focus on creating the look that you want, most of our highlighting services take between 2-4 hours. 

We also offer a “half-head” of highlights service – this service can create a subtler look, accentuate a certain part of your hair (e.g. face framing), or refresh a previous highlighting service.
